Corrosive and abrasive fluids transmission in the mining industries is one of the most difficult parts of material handling in mines and processing plants. Controlling the transfer of corrosive and abrasive mineral slurries is done by valves that can withstand high physical and chemical corrosion.
In general, Weir Minerals group different types of valves with ISOGATE and LINATEX brands have been marketed and this company, with its exclusive representation, is ready to supply the following types of valves required in mineral processing and related industries and the required spare parts as follows:
Knife Gate Valves
WS, WB & WH models of this type of valve are designed and manufactured by Weir Minerals, which repairs are simple and therefore have low operating costs. Unlike the valves used to control the flow of water transmission lines, the valves by Weir Minerals are made of materials that can control abrasive slurry in various mineral processing lines with the least downtime and low maintenance costs.
Pinch Valves
These valves are made in two PVOB or PVCB models. PVOB or open body model is designed and manufactured in such a way that they are lightweight, while the sleeve is easily visible and can be replaced with a new type if it needs to be repaired. In this model, the position of the sleeves in the valve building can be completely inspected and controlled.
The PVCB model, or model with a metal shell, has the feature of protecting the rubber sleeve as well as the mechanism of operation of the valve against various environmental conditions and factors, including slurry sprinkle.
Pneumatic Valves
These valves operate automatically in the corresponding circuit and are made in two types of PPV1PS (with a complete rubber sleeve) or PPV2PL (with two rubber liner pieces).
Check Valves
The CVSNR model of this type of valve is made with rubber lining and is used to prevent the return of abrasive slurry currents in pipe lines. The design of this type of valve is such that no metal parts are exposed to abrasive slurry during operation.
The AB model of this type of valve includes a simple and repairable three-way for the most difficult applications of slurry. The ball with low density inside the valve acts as a valve mechanism.
